2025 Indoor Track & Field Meet

Who

Anyone who is 18 years of age or older is eligible to participate in the FRNY Indoor Track & Field Meet. Athletes who are 14–17 years of age will be required to have a consent form signed by their parent or guardian. The consent form is available here.

Registration

Online: $25 (plus a transaction fee) before Saturday, March 29th, at 11:59PM.

On Site (day of meet): $35 — can be paid by Venmo or cash.

The registration fee entitles you to run as many races as you want. Registration for relays will only occur on-site the day of the event. Event add/drop forms will be located at the check in table.

Track

  1. 60m*

  2. Mile

  3. 4X200m

  4. 400m

  5. 800m

  6. 200m

  7. 4X400m

  8. 4X200m Wig Relay**

Field

  1. Shot Put (Open Pit, 4 attempts)

  2. Long Jump (Open Pit, 4 attempts

  3. High Jump

*Note: the 60m will promptly start at 2:00PM, followed by the Mile and the Long Jump. 

**4X200m Wig Relay

  • One wig per team (the wig is the baton).

  • The first leg will start with the wig on

  • The wig must remain on your head while running the lap.

  • Each team member is required to wear a wig cap when wearing the wig.

  • The wig can only be handed off in the exchange zone.

  • We strongly encourage each team to bring their own wig and wig caps. However, we will have extra available, if needed.

Structure of Heats (Track)

Heat structure will be based on predicted times, regardless of gender, starting with fastest times. Athletes who are attempting to break a record and need for us to make accommodations, please notify us beforehand. We will be more than happy to facilitate!

Awards

Individual events: medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in the male, female and non-binary divisions in following age groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, & 70+.

Relay Events (4x200m & 4x400M): medals will be awarded to the top three finishing mens, womens, non-binary and mixed gender teams in the Open (34 and under) and Masters (35+) divisions. Team division is based on the age of the youngest runner.

**4x200m Wig Relay: medals will be awarded to the top three mens, womens, non-binary and mixed gender teams.
